Wadie Habboush, President and CEO of Habboush Group, has actively participated in international business forums, notably the World Economic Forum (WEF). Under his leadership, Habboush Group became the first Iraqi private sector company admitted to the WEF and was recognized as one of its Global Growth Companies.

In May 2013, Habboush represented the Iraqi private sector at the WEF Middle East and North Africa (MENA) summit in Jordan. He spoke on the panel “Economies in Focus: Iraq,” discussing strategies for inclusive growth and development in Iraq amid favorable energy prices and the prevailing political and security landscape. ​

Additionally, during the 2013 WEF Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, Habboush was interviewed by Hub Culture’s Executive Editor, Edie Lush, at the Hub Culture Davos Pavilion. ​

Beyond the WEF, Habboush has been a speaker at events like the World Petroleum Congress, addressing topics related to development, energy, and infrastructure. ​
